Dr Georgina Beaumont

Dr Georgina Beaumont is an RCVS Recognised and EBVS European Specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. After completing her specialist training (residency) in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at the University of Bristol, Georgina moved into private, small animal referral practice. She currently provides specialist veterinary anaesthesia consultancy and education as part of the Veterinary Anaesthesia Specialists team in Australia. She has presented nationally and internationally, is a co-author and editor, and has served on committees and councils including the Anaesthesia Council and Comparative Medicine Section of the Royal Society of Medicine, and the Anaesthesia Chapter Standards Working Group of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Surgeons. Her interest is in patient safety, policy development, pain recognition and assessment, and multimodal analgesia.
