PD Dr Kerstin von Pückler is a veterinary radiologist, researcher and lecturer. She is head of the diagnostic imaging unit at the Justus Liebig University in Giessen. Her main research interests are diagnostic imaging of skeletal dysplasia and degenerative changes in small animals. Her projects are focused on new imaging methods such as stem cell labeling and functional MRI. In addition to her work at university, she is an active member of the International Elbow Working Group (IEWG) and the International Veterinary Radiology Association (IVRA), and she is a scrutiniser for hip and elbow dysplasia of different dog breeds.
